Sun., October 16 – Cassadaga Spriritual Camp and Deland
The Spiritualist camp known as Cassadaga was founded over 100 years ago and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Architecture is a mix of New England Cobblestone Village and Southern Magnolia Outback. Sights include:
The town of nearby Deland is also a slice of Americana where you will have lunch. The downtown area is dotted with cafés, boutiques and art galleries nestled on cobble-stone streets. The Greek Revival style architecture is evident among some of the public buildings on our tour and is sometimes known as “The Athens of Florida.” Deland is also home to Stetson University.

Mon., November 14 – Pre-Holiday Shopping Excursion
To the largest Flea Market in the South, Yalaha German Bakery and the House of Presidents. Trip Highlights:

This is the trip for those not looking for mass produced mall items. The rural setting of the several connected crafts, collectible and antique boutiques offer you several opportunities to find unique gift ideas.
Lunch on own at the Yalaha Bakery.

December TBA – Singing Christmas Tree, First Baptist Church of Orlando
A stop will made to see the Mall of the Millennia lit up and decorated to the max for viewing and lunch on own at PF Changs, Brio Tuscan Grill, The Cheesecake Factory, McCormick and Schmicks or at one of the best food courts with multiple choices.

Wed., February 16 – Daytona Beach, Bubba Gumps and the Chocolate Factory
The Daytona Museum of Art is loaded with a variety of things to see including the largest collection of Cuban Art outside of Cuba. American Art and Antiques, Planetarium, Art Deco Streamline Trains, Florida History from the Mastodon to the present and the Root Museum of Coca Cola bottles, dolls and bear collection.

Wed., March 21 – St. Augustine
After arriving late morning, you will have time to stroll the downtown area with its more than 80 shops along cobbled lanes shaded by moss-draped oaks. Scattered throughout blocks of historic landmarks, you may discover eclectic offerings from specialty gifts such as handmade candles, woven goods, wood crafts and more.
Lunch today is at the famous Columbia Restaurant in the historic district. After lunch, we will go on a sightseeing tour that will take you back to America’s Gilded Age in the collection of collections known as the Lightner Museum. It features costumes, furnishings, mechanized musical instruments and other artifacts of 19th century life, along with cut glass, Victorian art glass and Tiffany stained glass.
We will visit the high ceiling Venetian architecture church which is home to Flagler’s tomb and the largest pipe organ in the Southeast.

Wed., April 18 – High Tea at the Grand Floridian, Disney
Deluxe Tea Time at the prestigious Grand Floridian Hotel will include finger sandwiches, scones, champagne or Mimosas, decadent desserts and several choices of teas served in a formal tea setting overlooking the manicured gardens.
The Grand Floridian is reminiscent of the Henry Flagler Gilded Age Era and is Disney’s top-rated hotel.
We will visit the nearby Pacific Northwest Splendor of the Disney Wilderness Lodge with a running stream in the lobby flowing to an outdoor waterfall and the new Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge with vistas of the animals.

Wed., May 16 – U.S. Navy Seals Museum on Hutchinson Island near Ft. Pierce
The U.S. Navy Seals has performed missions all over the world. They are the elite Special Forces and their training program is only for the strongest of heart. Here at their original training site is the story of the training, history and success stories behind the teams. Since their most recent mission has made worldwide news we anticipate a sold out trip so book early to ensure your participation.
Lunch today is at Mangrove Matties overlooking the inlet between the river and the ocean across from the original training site.
Time permitting we will tour the FPL Energy Encounter located at the Nuclear Power Plant on Hutchinson Island.
The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is the only museum dedicated solely to preserving the history of the Navy SEALS and their predecessors, including the Underwater Demolition Teams, Naval Combat Demolition Units, Office of Strategic Services Maritime Units and Amphibious Scouts and Raiders. Located in Fort Pierce, Florida - the birthplace of the Navy Frogman - the Museum promotes public education by providing the opportunity to explore the history of the Navy SEALS in an atmosphere of respect and honor.
