Travel Club Mission Statement:
To provide transportation and tours to interested participants regardless of age or mobility. To encourage cultural exchanges, education and entertainment through seminars and excursions. To promote world peace through traveling to other destinations and by learning about other people, heritages, lifestyles and hobbies both similar and different from our own. To gain insight and understanding about our environments through visiting parks and gardens. To socialize with other ABon Vivants@ who share the love of travel. To enjoy ourselves and the world which surrounds us and make the most of each day we live. To love, to learn and to live!!!!

Dayaway Travel Club meetings are currently held monthly at the Satellite Beach Park & Recreation Department=s Pelican Park Clubhouse located at 1495 A1A midway between the Atlantis (Former Cove) and Enigma Restaurants on the opposite side of the street directly on the beach. Meetings at this A frame building are on the first Thursday of the month at 10-11am.
Spinoff groups of 10 or more may request one time guest seminars or monthly meetings in other areas of Brevard County if they can provide a meeting room.
Guest Speakers: 7 Seas Cruiseaway and Adventure Club members have guest speakers on a quarterly basis or more subject to availability. These speakers include cruise line representatives, international tour guides, Safari specialists, sailors, authors, chefs, nutritionalists, photographers and other specialists. Please fill in the comment sheets with any special seminars that you would like to see offered!!!
Pick up points:
Parking is strictly at your own risk!!! Florida Greeters/Dayaway Travel Club nor any of the clubs and organizations serviced will be held liable in the event of car problems or theft.
Current pick up points for outings are the Clarion Hotel in Merritt Island off of 520 (MI) the Cocoa Beach Country Club at the end of Minuteman Causeway (CB)
The Red Ginger Chinese Restaurant in the Centre at Suntree (6300 N. Wickham Road) or the Walmart Viera Murphy’s Gas Station near Wickham and I-95 as specified.
The Satellite Beach Parks and Recreation Department David Schecter Community Center at the corner of Patrick Drive and Jackson Ave (SB).

Ride Sharing: Shared Rides are generally available through other club members on a request basis!
Night Driving: Many of you have expressed concerns about returning to locations after dark. We will make every attempt to make sure that you are safely in your vehicle or ride=s vehicle before leaving. The Dayaway Travel Club van can make additional pick up points possible for those who don=t drive and for smaller group excursions!
We Drive You! (You can fill in the rest i.e. We drive you to your destination, We drive you to fun, We drive you to drink, or we drive you crazy!!! Personal interpretations are optional!!!Remember this is supposed to be fun!!!
